Hele Barton - Cornwall
A true gem, nestling close to the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.
Covering 4 farms and 1500 acres, guns will marvel at the forever changing scenery as the shoot day progresses. With a shoot layout consisting of dense woodland and an abundance of copses birds thrive in such a perfect location.
The shoot has many drives showing classic driven Cornish birds. Penhallem has left many a gun quietly walking away from there peg!
- Bag volumes vary from 100 to 250 plus, days can be shot singularly or back to back.
- Walked Up and Rough Shooting days are available from late October onwards.
- Woodcock and Snipe days – limited availability.
Days for non-shooting guests can be mixed and matched to incorporate sea fishing, game fishing, archery, falconry and horse riding – well behaved dogs are more than welcome.
Hospitality is "second to none" having space in your belly for those scrumptious Cornish Pasties is highly recommended… Lunch is usually served in the field and an after shoot dinner taken close by in a local inn.
A good degree of fitness is required to reach drives and pegs on the shoot. The layout is such that motorised vehicles are difficult to get around the estate.
The local weather and farming diversities make Hele Barton an idyllic shoot location.
