A warm welcome (and a hot coffee!) is always given as you roll up to the meeting point, a charming house on the banks of the Buckland Burn.

  • The Mutehill shoot is set in rolling countryside, rising from sea level to over 400 feet covering over 20 challenging drives.
  • Pheasants and Partridges are shown from a mature woodlands, young plantations and game crops, with the guns standing in open fields to deep bottomed gullies, challenging even the most experienced of game shots.
  • Drives such as The Glenley Valley, Moss Bank and The Dairyman’s Field should strike fear and pleasure in equal measures into the line of guns.
  • Bag sizes range from 150 – 400, with partridges being offered from September to November and pheasants from October through January.
  • Mixed days and smaller walking days available on request.
